1. Who we are

SaudaDesk is a cloud-based brokerage management system for Indian commodity traders, operated as a solo software product. For questions about this policy, email us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

When you use SaudaDesk, we collect:

  • Account information: Your email address and encrypted password (we never see your actual password).
  • Company details: Company name, address, city, PAN number, contact numbers.
  • Bank account details: Account holder name, account number, IFSC code, bank name — used only to print on your brokerage bills.
  • Trade data: Contracts, party names, commodity details, brokerage rates, and financial figures you enter.
  • Payment confirmation: When you subscribe, you send us a payment screenshot via email. We do not store card or UPI details — payment goes directly to our UPI ID.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and run the SaudaDesk service.
  • To generate brokerage bills that include your company and bank details.
  • To verify your subscription payment and grant access.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
  • We do not use your trade data for any purpose other than displaying it back to you.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a professional cloud database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS/HTTPS).

Row-Level Security (RLS) is enabled on all tables, meaning your data is only accessible using your own login credentials. No other user can see your contracts, parties, or company details.

As the operator of SaudaDesk, we have administrative access to the database. We do not access individual user data unless required to resolve a technical issue, and only with your awareness.

5. Sensitive financial data

Your PAN number and bank account details are stored to print on your brokerage bills. This data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. We recommend using a dedicated business account rather than personal bank details.

6. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all your data (contracts, parties, company config) will be permanently deleted within 7 days. To request deletion, email us at [email protected].

7. Cookies

SaudaDesk uses session cookies only to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics. No cookie consent banner is required.

8. Your rights

  • Access: You can view all your data within the SaudaDesk dashboard at any time.
  • Correction: You can update your company details and party information at any time.
  • Deletion: You can request full account and data deletion at any time.
  • Portability: Contact us if you need an export of your data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of SaudaDesk after changes means you accept the updated policy.
